Sarah
S., Seattle, WA -- I prefer The Hen's karaoke
Wednesdays where everyone from the old-timers to the
just-turned-21-ers sing well but don't really care
who's listening. The drinks are reasonable in price
and strength, and the dance floor seems uncommonly
full while people are singing. Yay for The Hen---the
best bar in the neighborhood!. (Yelp)

L., Seattle, WA -- I Heart "The Hen"! Leave your ego behind,
bring your friends, and do a little karaoke on a Wednesday night.
Pick an up-beat song (or sing a good ballad) and people will dance
to you. The drinks are reasonable, and the food is pub food (so
don't expect a lot from it, kay?). The atmosphere has the feel of a
cozy old bar that your grandpa would approve of ... (Citysearch)

D., Seattle, WA -- They have...karaoke on Wednesdays
(the first time I went on a Wednesday my first
thought was, "Oh wow, YOUNG people come here too?").
All in all, you have to try this place at least
once. Make sure you bring a big group of friends who
don't mind angering the regulars by dancing solo in
the middle of the dance floo. Or you can always
play wallflower and be asked to dance by the 6 or 7
men that I see EVERY time I'm there. (Yelp)

D., Seattle, WA -- Country sing along karaoke mashed
up with mainstream hip-hop. Sounds like a mess huh?
It is, but only sort of, sometimes it actually
works. Wednesday is when I think it all goes down.
This is definitely one of the most curious bar
scenes I've been to. Who can sing along to Achy
Breaky Blah and Let me Ride? I can't.. (Yelp)

B., Seattle, WA -- Better than American Idol! If you
were thinking about staying home Wednesday night to
watch TV, think again! The Little Red Hen or as
regulars call it, "the HEN" is the place to be, and
packs more entertainment value than anything you're
going to see on channel 5. Great atmosphere, wingman
not required. (Citysearch)
